It uses an SD reminiscence card and custom hardware to mimic an Apple floppy disk and power, or an Apple difficult drive. It's a port of Hampa Hug's excellent PCE emulator, put together by James Friend. Mini vMac does not emulate the floppy drive hardware but instead patches the ROM with a replacement disk driver, which can mount up to 6 “disk image” files. csv on a 4MiB flash device, this image needs to be 1433600 bytes, or 2800 512-byte-sized blocks. Please note that software diskettes for a Macintosh Plus would be in a special (400K or) 800K Mac format, and cannot be read in a USB floppy drive.
Mac Plus was introduced in 1986 and Wikipedia tells us it remained. You will likely want at times to boot the //gs with the Floppy Emu, and at others, have it connected but boot from a 3.
